Omega™ Range

Client Problem:

As the Riverdale Estate community was being established, they needed a shelter to provide shade from the sun in the summer months and rain in the winter months. This shade would serve the local community as they enjoyed the gardens and used the picnic and barbeque facilities. It would also be a place that parents could watch their children whilst they explored the playground nearby.

Specifications:

The shelter was to be manufactured and built in a circular design so a feature tree would be able to rise through the structure. This would be a fully customised and built for purpose structure with ample space for furniture and barbeques facilities.

Contractors:

Flemings Landscapes was appointed as the head contractor and landscape architect for the Riverdale Estate project.

We were entrusted by Flemings Landscapes to bring their vision of the custom shelter to life, in the centre of the park.

Challenges:

A challenge we encountered was that due to the unique nature of the structure a custom-manufactured roofing profile had to be designed to suit the radius. Our team worked together to formulate a strategy which was executed perfectly.

Result:

We were first contacted by Kenn Martin at Flemings Landscapes in July 2018, and the project was completed in September 2018.

The result was a beautiful space for the community of Riverdale Estate to enjoy the spectacular gardens and space designed by Flemings Landscapes. Now it’s become a well-used space for families and the community to connect and unwind.
